LOCAL AREA & BEYOND
Set in the heart of the Adur Valley, famed for its 20 mile-long idyllic stretch of river, you are perfectly located to make like Jerome K Jerome and start messing about in boats. Or perhaps the surrounding South Downs that have inspired authors from Blake to Belloc and Tennyson to Kipling are more your scene – the walking and cycling options are endless.
Twineham itself boasts beautiful St Peter’s Church – built in 1516, it has what can only be described as a very appealing peal in the form of five bells.
And how could we not mention Brighton, which is just 10 miles away and has more history, culture, shopping and food than you could shake a sizeable stick of rock at, as well as the beautiful beach.
